Chief Investment Officer
D. Mark Livingston is the Chief Investment Officer for the Preservation team at Alliant Communities. Mr. Livingston has extensive experience across the low-income housing tax credit industry, including investor relations, development, syndication, acquisitions, and asset management.
Prior to joining Alliant Communities, he was a Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Walker & Dunlop, where he oversaw affordable acquisitions, underwriting and syndication processes. He also served as Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Alliant Capital, overseeing the company’s LIHTC investment portfolio of over $10 billion.
Mr. Livingston earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from The Ohio State University, a master’s degree in taxation from the Golden Gate University Bruce F. Braden School of Taxation, and a juris doctor from the Michigan State University College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Colorado.
